You might be asking, “Why did Katie and Tim get a cocker?” Well, the answer is this….We lost Logic to an acute illness that left a huge hole in my heart; not a day goes by where I don’t think of my sweet little Logic and not burst into tears.  Chuck Nelson being a great friend said, “What you need is a project.”  So, he sent me a black furry bundle of energy named Ash.  Ash was the best medicine for my broken heart.  I was blessed to have Ash for a while but, in the back of my mind I knew she would have to go home.  I fell head over heals in love with this little black cocker of Chuck’s, so much so, I HAD to have one of my own.  I called Tom Ness in Menoken, ND and he said he would find me a puppy and he did.  Tim picked Epi up on a Thursday and Ash went home on that Saturday….it was perfect timing. You may ask, “What is with the name?”  Well, as I had this tiny lemon bundle of fur running around under my feet, I was studying for my Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) certification and the one drug that kept appearing was Epinephrine (Epi).  I think it was a sign from above that was suppose to be her name.  Epi is a great little girl with a huge heart along with an amazing drive for birds.  I am so excited that we were able to welcome her into our large four legged family!
