Memorial Day is an important holiday to recognize. As most of you know Tim (“Lt”) is in the Army and has faithfully served our wonderful nation for 16 years which has included numerous deployments overseas. Many soldiers have given their last breath for my everyday breath of freedom; this sacrifice was not made in vain. I am an Army Wife and take the title seriously; not only do the soldiers make sacrifices but also their families too. Those who wait also serve! So, on this Memorial Day please not only remember our soldiers but also the families who continue on in life with a hole in their heart that only the life of their soldier can plug. If you see them at the cemetery please shake their hand and thank them not only for their soldiers sacrifice but also theirs. God Bless this great Nation and those who defend our freedom! HOORAH!
All gave some; some gave ALL!

In Flanders Field
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
John McCrae
