Just a peek of a typical evening at the Gorecki house.  I was spying on the puppies as they played and ate.  Gene, Aaron, and Loryn spent time snuggling and hugging the puppies.  They are spending more time outside in the puppy pen; they Loryn, Aaron, and Gene with Kahlua x Ace puppies.were not to sure about it at first but, now they venture into the jungle (my overgrown lawn…hey, it could very easily be a jungle for a little 6 inch puppy).  The house has started to develop a noise…a noise of 12 puppies all demanding your attention that is.  Aaron has been helping us shuttle the puppies out for potty training in a basket.  The neighbors must wonder what is going on at 11;30 at night when all of a sudden, “Good potty!” echoes in the night…yep; My little brother with a basket full of puppy.potty training has begun!

My little brother is such a big help while I am at school.  He is doing a great job of loving and snuggling all the puppies…yes, all 12. All of SoBe’s puppies have their eyes open; they are starting to be on the move.  I moved them from the bathroom into the whelping box in the kitchen.  My vacuum is on overtime with all the paper shavings everywhere; it is demanding a raise.  I don’t even put it away; it is pulled in 24/7 on the ready.  I took new puppy portraits; you can find them when you click on the the puppies picture or the word “puppies” on the homepage.  Aaron and I got it done in 15 minutes; he is a lot more better at helping me than Tim…actually everyone who helps me (Laura, Aaron, and Loryn) with puppy portraits besides my hubby is better; we can get them done lickity split but, with Tim it takes an hour…..I wonder why?

SoBe is letting the whelping box do more babysitting as the days pass; which is great.  I love having her in my lap with a big smile on her face; she is a great lap dog, dontcha know?  The puppies have been mostly eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping….I would like to report that the fun is about to begin.  Absolut Lemonade has her eyes open and Washington Cocktails eyes are half open; the other puppies are soon to follow which means it is going to start getting busy with 8 puppies soon on the move.

Aaron and I took the puppies outside for the first time….they did not know quite what to think but, they soon ventured away from the security of each other and enjoyed the grass.  They are active…Frappe can already crawl out of the whelping box and Rambo shot was close behind her.  I guess it was too good to be true…the whelping box being enough to Aaron (my little brother) with an arm full of puppies....Kahlua x Ace Summer 2010contain the natives…now they are on the move.

Tim and Aaron fed the puppies for the first time…I thought that you might want to take a look; it was definitely not as messy as other litters have been in the past.

My little brother, Aaron, has come to stay a while for the summer…he has graciously decided to help us out with the puppies this summer since there is 12 of them!  He is cuddling Rambo Shot in this video clip; they are watching the movie Transformers.  As you can see, Rambo is actually watching the screen…who would of thought at that age?  Aaron gave TimAaron and the sign he gave Tim and Katie. and I a sign that says it all….”I don’t call 911, I own a shot gun.”  The sign goes great with the sign on my door that says, “please announce self loudly or you will find a shot gun pointed at you.”  I spend a lot of time alone with Tim being in the Army.  I feel very safe with every door having a shot gun above it…LOL!
