SoBe and Tanner made some great retrieving girls! You can see that the girls in the video are doing great for 6 weeks old…their tails are wagging and they are very happy and excited around the birds. I could not ask for more! I am so excited to see them progress; it should be a blast.

2 different videos so you can all see everything that is happening; I cant fit it all into one! Georgia Pie is front and center with a big smile on her face; she is a great puppy! Scooby Snack is doing great…It is awesome to see all the puppies develop their own attitudes and personalities. 2 of Kahlua’s puppies went home today with their new families: Vanilla Creamsicle and Rambo Shot. I have to say there was tears in my eyes; you would think it would get easier after 9 years of letting them go but, it is not….my saying goes, “I cry when the first one leaves and when the last one goes.” They are my babies; I was there when they came into the world and when they adventure to new families. I am sure that when they are all gone and the house is completely quiet the house will feel a little more lonely. ..but, that is why I have 12 house dogs…..Enjoy the videos!

Here is the retrieving work I am doing with Kahlua x Ace puppies; not bad for 7 weeks old! I am so excited! Potty training is coming along great as well; they go all night without accidents and let us know when they need to go out. The noise level as you can hear in the video has climbed another few decibels.

SoBe and Tanner’s puppies swimming for the first time; they all took to the water like little otter babies! Tim and Aaron did a great job introducing them to the water and then letting them swim on their own.

SoBe x Tanner puppies along with Kahlua x Ace puppies playing and tormenting each other. It is starting to get loud in here! I would not want it any other way! I normally would write more blogs but, you know the saying, “a picture is worth a thousand words,” so imagine how many words a video is worth…..a million maybe? Here they are on the hottest day since their birth; SWIMMING! They did great! Tim and Aaron took them while I play videographer; I did get worried when Vanilla Creamsicle decided to tour the bay. She made it with flying colors but like I said, I was a little green around the gills until Aaron was able to grab her attention and flag her in for a safe landing.

We have started retrieving work and the puppies are enthusiastic about it! I am so excited that they are taking to it with gusto! I am anxious to keep working with them and move them up to pigeons.

The puppies are on the move! It does not take much for them to get out of their basket anymore as you can see! We are constantly chasing them; there is never a dull moment here!
