Tim and I took Mini, Kane, Beret, and Mighty out to the field to romp and romp they did! They had a blast. Towards the end all I could see was their little brown heads and ears popping up above the grass. Mini was out hunting for her self; she flushed some pheasants and stayed steady. Also, here are some pictures from the other day of how dirty they got out in the yard (Beret)…it was raining. Tim right now is snuggled with Mighty on the couch and earlier today I was able to snap a shot of him and Kane sharing some quality time together. Kane is Tim’s little boy….. Kane is drawn more towards Tim and Beret towards me….Mighty, I think that we will have a throw down to see who she gravitates towards; she is the perfect snuggler with an amazing run in the field, she also exhibits fantastic bird drive….WOW, what a puppy she is; I could not ask for anything more. Retrieves were a not so great today with Mighty, Kane, or Beret but, they are still puppies so I cut them some slack.

All of the puppies are gone that don’t belong to me now. I took Firecracker to meet Chuck this evening. I can’t lie, I was in tears when I drove out of the driveway. She had cried all the way there because she had never been alone in a crate before; she always had the security of her brother and sister. The house is still full of the rough housing that comes with puppies, but there is one less puppy voice in the mix. Yes, believe it or not I can tell them all apart. I know that she will have a friend to be with; Chuck has a puppy as well, so I think they will become great friends. Tim and I tried to take some pictures with Beret and Kane, but as you know puppies don’t always cooperative….it was a wash ( I look not he best in this picture, but it was a rush to get in the picture BEFORE the timer went off and have all the puppies some what looking at the camera; no small fete). So, I decided to just use the picture of Tim and I for the homepage of the website that we set up with the tripod and a self timer…not bad if I say so. Mini, SoBe, and Trixie are out and about in the house and I am headed to bed. Good night babies, sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite.

Mini playing with her puppies (Beret, Firecracker, and Kane) along with Mighty though the puppy pen and the fence. The noise will never end here; to think I was worried about having a quiet house after Chuck takes Firecracker on Sunday. Still lots of noise and commotion here at the Gorecki house; never a dull moment with Springer puppies around. I have to say that I still miss Bella, Colorado Bulldog and too soon Firecracker. Please let me know how they are all doing….I miss them bunches!
Colorado Bulldog took the big plane to California today; my house feels a little emptier without him….Kat give him a big hug for me when he gets there. Tim took Bella to her new family on Labor Day, so my house is becoming more quieter….I have to say I am not a fan. I love the puppy noises that comes with a house brimming full of energetic rambunctious Springer puppies. I have to be thankful because I still get to keep 2 of the 5 and I also have Mighty Me who is just a couple weeks older than Mini’s. Beret, Kane, Mighty and Firecracker did pigeon retrieves in the kitchen. Beret was especially excited to pick the pigeon up and bring it back to me; she was so proud. Tim gave all 4 a bath in the big tub; now they all smell clean at least for a little bit. It is inevitable that they will roll and dig in the dig the second their little paws hit the ground; they are a magnet for dirt and when it rains mud….that is the favorite among them you know. I am patiently waiting for the girls to come out of heat so I can plan the rest of my field trialing season. It sounds like I will be training bright and early at 7am on Thursday in Forada; yea!
The weather is still acting like summer….I wish it would cool down. The dogs always run better when it is cooler out. You can officially call: Tyrael, Baker, Ace, and Jimmy, “Patches,” yep, Tim gave them baths and haircuts. I am protecting the girls from his shaving skills; well at least while I am here, I am not too sure what will happen when I go to school on Monday. I wish that I was running in the Northern Minnesota field trial this weekend but, I am not because my dogs came into heat. It always seems to happen at the worst time….field trialing season. I spend all summer getting them ready and then BAM…..girls all come into heat and then the season is put on hold until they are done (21 days that is for all of you who are counting). I would like to wish luck to all who are running this weekend; I wish I could be there with you. I am patiently counting the days until I can join the field trialing “world” again. For those of you who run males; you are SOOOO LUCKY!
Here are some pictures I took of the puppies and Tim with my new camera….I am experimenting with it! There are new puppy portraits…take a look. All the puppies eyes are CERF: Clear. They are starting to head to their new home this weekend.

Just to let all of you know that Trixie was bred to Jimmy on September 2nd. Kahlua was bred to Ace September 1st. So, Either way people who have deposits down will be getting their puppies!
Getting the girls ready for field trialing season is going well. Miata is now steady and keeps proving herself in the field. I am waiting for her run to open up more. SoBe is tearing up the field; her run is fast and furious. Chuck is going to run her in 2 Opens in North Dakota. I am not able to take her because I am in nursing school right now. I plan on running her Mini, Miata in the local fall trials. Mini needs to be in better shape so, that is on my list of things to do. Also on my list is to give Ace, Baker, and Jimmy hair cuts. Trixie and Kahlua were bred so there will be puppies one way or the other in the next 60 days….it gives me time to rest up. Trixie was bred to Jimmy(more tri colors perhaps) and Kahlua was bred to Ace again(not my call….but hubby wanted to so….). My dogs are keeping me busy, and I am excited to continue to add to our family….Kane, Mighty, and Beret. I will be introducing them to you all soon!
